Spend an unforgettable day strolling among huge, stone statues on our Abode of the Gods Day Trip. We'll set off from Cusco and stand before sculptures that tower over 30 feet high.

Abode of the Gods Day Trip

Having picked you up from your hotel in Cusco at 9 am, we'll set off northbound for the town of Sencca. After around 45 minutes on the road, we'll come to Apukunaq Tianan, the Abode of the Gods.

Upon arrival, you'll encounter a collection of giant sculptures carved into limestone rock. We'll start walking around the Abode of the Gods, uncovering the meaning of this place and the sculptures present. Some of them rise up to 33 feet (10 metres) high.

Among the sculptures we'll admire are the puma, the three-dimensional door, the protective Apu, the God Wiracocha, Pachamama, and the viewpoint. From here, we will also enjoy scenic views of the city and surrounding landscapes. Our guide will share insights on Andean cosmology and the history of the Inca period.

We'll then return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel at around 12 noon.
