Q’eswachaka Inca Rope Bridge Tour
At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and set off on the route south, stopping at a local restaurant after two hours for breakfast.
Next, the tour will stop at the Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopía and Pomacanchi lagoons, before continuing towards the Pabellones volcano, close to the village of Yanaoca.
We'll then proceed to the Q'ewe district, reaching the famous Q'eswachaka Inca Bridge. The bridge spans 118 feet across the Apurimac Canyon and was part of the historic Inca road system connecting various cities. It is notable as the last remaining bridge from this era, reconstructed every June by local communities following ancient tradition, ensuring it is safe to cross.
After visiting Q'eswachaka, we'll enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to your hotel in Cusco around 5 pm.
