Q’eswachaka Inca Rope Bridge Tour

At 5 am, hotel pickups in Cusco commence, followed by a two-hour drive to a local restaurant for breakfast.

The tour proceeds with stops at the Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopía, and Pomacanchi lagoons, and later heads towards the Pabellones volcano near the village of Yanaoca.

Continuing to the Q'ewe district, the destination is the Q'eswachaka Inca Bridge, a handwoven grass rope structure spanning 118 feet across the Apurimac Canyon, integral to the Inca road system connecting historical cities.

Notably, it is the last remaining bridge from this era, with ongoing reconstruction by local communities every June, ensuring its safety for crossing despite its age.

After visiting Q'eswachaka, the tour includes a buffet lunch before returning to Cusco by approximately 5 pm.
