Follow in the footsteps of Pablo Neruda and be seduced by the deep blue Pacific ocean crashing against the rocky coastline of Isla Negra. This tour includes a visit to the poet's house and a traditional village with artisan heritage.

Isla Negra and Pomaire Trip

The trip begins with hotel pickup at 8 am, heading to Isla Negra.

Pablo Neruda owned three homes in Chile, with Isla Negra being his favorite. This house resembles a boat and contains various nautical memorabilia relevant to Neruda's poetry, including figureheads, sailboat replicas, model boats in bottles, seashells, and whale teeth.

After exploring Neruda's residence, we will visit the graves of the poet and his muse, Matilde Urrutia, located on a clifftop with views of the Pacific Ocean.

On our return to Santiago, we will stop at Pomaire, known for its artisan pottery. Visitors can learn about this clay art form and view the region's signature red-toned ceramics, along with free time to dine in local restaurants.

To conclude the tour, we will visit Viña Undurraga, a historic winery with over 130 years of winemaking. Here, participants will have the opportunity to taste their wines.

After a full day exploring Isla Negra and Pomaire, we will return to Santiago, finishing at the original hotel by around 4 pm.
