Machu Picchu 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a two-hour bus journey to Ollantaytambo. After arriving in Ollantaytambo, a train will take you through scenic landscapes for an hour and a half. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, check in at your hotel for the night and enjoy free time to explore the town.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Cusco

After breakfast, board a bus to Machu Picchu, where you'll embark on a two-and-a-half-hour guided tour of the historic Inca citadel. Following the tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and a bus back to your hotel in Cusco.

Accommodation Options

Choose from two accommodation options when booking:

Standard Accommodation

One night with breakfast in two-star accommodation, such as Hotel Rock Rivers or similar.

Superior Accommodation

One night with breakfast in three-star accommodation, such as Hotel Hantun Inti Classic del Inca or similar.

Train Types

Travel to Machu Picchu on panoramic trains with large windows. Options include tourist class (Expedition or Voyager train) and first class (Vistadome or The 360º train).

Pickup Info

Pickup is available from hotels in Cusco's historic center. Guests staying outside this area should meet at the entrance of the Cathedral in Plaza de Armas. Confirmation will occur a few days before the tour.

Additional Info

If the tour is canceled due to strikes or weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered. A full refund minus the non-refundable entrance fees to Machu Picchu (approximately 200 PEN) will be provided if rescheduling is not possible.

Admission to Huayna Picchu

Admission is not included. If interested, inform us during booking for a fee of 65 USD per person. Note that trekking does not include a guide.

Admission to Machu Picchu Mountain

Entrance is also not included and costs 65 USD per person if specified at booking. This trek does not include a guide.

2-Day Tour Without Tickets

If the tour is unavailable on your selected dates or you prefer independent access, a 2-day Machu Picchu tour without tickets can be booked. This option includes transport, a guide, and accommodation only.
