Machu Picchu 4 Day Trek

Day 1: Cusco - Soqma - Korimarca

Pick-up at your hotel in Cusco or at the airport at 7 am to start the trek. Visit the Ñaupa Church and then begin a two-hour ascent to the village of Soqma for lunch. Continue the ascent to the Perolniyoc waterfalls, visiting the archaeological site of Rayanpata. Camp near the village of Korimarca at over 3600 meters.

Day 2: Korimarca - Inti Punku - Choquetacarpo

Start with breakfast and a four-hour ascent to Charkahuaylla pass at 4450 meters for lunch. Continue to Buena Negra pass for views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Descend to Inti Punku, near Choquetacarpo, for the second night.

Day 3: Choquetacarpo - Cachiccata - Aguas Calientes

Begin with views of the mountains. Descend to the quarries of Cachiccata, exploring an Inca cemetery. Have lunch in Cachiccata and learn about pachamanca. Continue along the Inca quarry road to Ollantaytambo and take a panoramic train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Cusco

Have breakfast and take a bus to Machu Picchu for a short hike and 3 hours of free time to explore. Optional hikes around Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain are available. After lunch, take the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco, arriving at 7:30 pm.

If the activity is cancelled due to strikes or weather conditions, an alternative date will be provided. Refunds will be issued, excluding the non-refundable Inca Trail entrance fees (approximately 200 PEN).

Accommodation

The tour includes two nights in tented camp and one night in a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes.
