Machu Picchu 4 Day Trek

Day 1: Cusco - Soqma - Korimarca

Pick up at your hotel in Cusco or the airport at 7 am to start the 4-day trek to Machu Picchu via the Inca Quarry. Visit the Ñaupa Church and then ascend for two hours to Soqma for lunch. Continue to the Perolniyoc waterfalls and then visit the archaeological site of Rayanpata. Camp near Korimarca at over 3600 meters.

Day 2: Korimarca - Inti Punku - Choquetacarpo

The day begins with breakfast before resuming the trek through the highest mountains of the Sacred Valley. After a four-hour ascent to the Charkahuaylla pass at 4450 meters, lunch will be served. Continue to the Buena Negra pass, then descend to Inti Punku to camp near Choquetacarpo.

Day 3: Choquetacarpo - Cachiccata - Aguas Calientes

Start with views of the Sacred Valley mountains, then descend for an hour to the Cachiccata quarries, exploring an Inca cemetery. Lunch will be in Cachiccata, with insights into traditional Peruvian dishes. Continue to Ollantaytambo and take a panoramic train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Cusco

Begin with breakfast, then take a bus to Machu Picchu for a short hike to the citadel. Enjoy around 3 hours to explore the area. Optional hikes around Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain are available. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, followed by a panoramic Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo, with a bus to Cusco arriving by 7:30 pm.

If the activity is cancelled due to strikes or bad weather, an alternative date will be provided. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be given, excluding the non-refundable Inca Trail entrance fees (approximately 200 PEN).

Accommodation

The tour includes two nights in tented accommodation and one night in a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes.
