Machu Picchu Tour Package: 4 days

Day 1: Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We'll first pass through the village of Chinchero, enjoying views of the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges.

The route will continue to the village of Ollantaytambo, followed by a ride to the Abra Malaga Pass, where we'll cycle to the village of Santa Maria. Lunch will be at the Inca site of Huamanmarca.

The day ends at a centrally located two-star hostel in Santa Maria. In the afternoon, we'll go rafting on the Blanco River before returning to the hostel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Santa Maria - Quellomayo - Santa Teresa

After breakfast, we will trek the original Inca trail connecting Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba, with views of various plantations. We’ll stop at the village of Quellomayo for lunch and continue with a 3.5-hour hike along the Vilcanota River to a centrally located hotel in Santa Teresa for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hidroeléctrica - Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we'll proceed to a 4 zip-line circuit and drive to Hidroeléctrica for lunch. Post-lunch, we’ll hike for 3 hours to a hotel in Aguas Calientes for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Macchu Picchu - Cusco

On the last day, we will trek early from Aguas Calientes to Macchu Picchu, including a guided tour of the archaeological site. Afterwards, we will begin a 3-hour trek to Hidroeléctrica, followed by a road return to your hotel in Cusco, expected arrival by 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 3 nights of accommodation with breakfast. The 3-star hotels and hostels assigned are:

Santa Maria: Hostal Doña Elena or similar.Santa Teresa: Monte Villa Hotel or similar.Aguas Calientes: Killa Inn Hotel, Quetzal Hotel or similar.

The prices shown are per adult in a double room.

In case of cancellation due to strikes or adverse weather, an alternative date will be offered. If rescheduling isn't possible, a full refund will be provided, excluding the entrance fee to Machu Picchu (approx. 200 PEN), which is non-refundable.
