Moray Ruins & Maras Salt Mines Tour Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel is at 8:20 am, followed by a journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop is Maras, known for its salt pans, or salineras, which have produced salt since pre-Inca times. The picturesque town and the natural color variation of the evaporation ponds create a notable sight, viewed from a designated viewpoint.
Next, visit Moray, where circular agricultural terraces, called andenes, were used for creating microclimates for diverse crops. You will have one hour to explore this archaeological site.
