Moray Ruins & Maras Salt Mines Tour Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel is at 8:20 am. Depart from Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, rich in Incan archaeological sites.
The first stop is Maras, a town known for its evaporation ponds, or salineras, historically used to produce salt since pre-Inca times. The ponds, arranged in terraces, offer a scenic view from the viewpoint.
Next, visit Moray, home to circular agricultural terraces, or andenes, believed to have created different microclimates for diverse crops. You will explore the site for one hour.
The tour concludes with a return to Cusco's historic centre, dropping you off near Plaza de Armas at 2:30 pm.
