Pallay Punchu Private Hiking Trip

  • 14 Stunden

Explore one of the colorful mountains of Peru with this hiking tour through Pallay Punchu. Discover one of the best attractions in the Cusco area.

Trip Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to start this trekking route through the mountain of the Seven Colors. After 1.5 hours, we'll stop at a restaurant in Collca for a breakfast buffet. Then, we'll continue for 2 more hours through the folds of the Laguni Lagoon before reaching Layo for photo opportunities.

Following a 15-minute drive from Layo, we will start our hike to Pallay Punchu, which can last between 45 minutes to 2 hours. The mountain's colors resemble a typical Peruvian poncho. During the hike, we will view the Pallay Punchu, Pasñawarcuna, Apu Tagllo, and Condorsllana mountains. At the highest point, Condor Sayana, at 4,850 metres (almost 16,000 feet) above sea level, we'll enjoy views of the Layo and Laguni districts and the Tres Cañones mountains of Suykutambo.

After exploring, we’ll head back to Cusco, stopping again at Collca for a lunch buffet. We will return to Cusco after this 14-hour trip and say our goodbyes at Plaza Regocijo.
