At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off for Tinta, a historic town located just 70 miles (113 kilometres) from Cusco.

This town is well-known for being the scene of the revolution led by the leader Túpac Amaru II, which was the largest indigenous independence movement of the former viceroyalty. We'll learn about the life of this revolutionary leader and visit symbolic places, including his museum-house.

Additionally, we'll visit the Church of Tinta. Inside this 17th-century building, we will find a gold leaf altar and notable works of art, including altarpieces by Diego de la Puente, Francisco Serrano and Marcos Rivera. Before continuing, we'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, we'll drive to the colonial bridge of Tinta, built in 1740. We'll cross this structure and proceed to the Estate of the Marquis of San Lorenzo de Valleumbroso.

Upon arrival, you'll see that this mansion, built upon Inca walls, was once owned by Rodrigo de Esquivel, a conquistador whose descendants became Marquises. We'll explore its patios, arcades and other spaces while admiring views of the Cusco valley. This mansion was declared a place of Cultural Heritage of the Nation in 1991 and is currently being restored.

After the visit, we'll return to your hotel, arriving around 8 pm.
