Waqrapukara Trip
Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco will occur between 3 and 4 am. We will travel south into the Andes, making a stop in Cusipata for breakfast after approximately two hours. We will continue through scenic landscapes and villages before arriving in Pitumarca, where an eight-kilometer hike begins towards the archaeological site of Waqrapukara.
This visit includes the ancient city of the Qanchi civilization and the Inti Punku archaeological site, known as the 'Sun Gate,' significant to the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Key features include the main square and turrets of the site.
