Italica Guided Tour

Discover the ancient Roman city of Italica in Santiponce, near Seville, on this guided tour. This English language activity offers an opportunity to explore significant archaeological ruins.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance to the ruins of Italica in Santiponce, located approximately ten minutes outside Seville. We will enter this archaeological site, the birthplace of Emperor Trajan, to learn about its history.

You will hear about the Emperor and the city's significance for the Iberian Peninsula. Our professional guide, specializing in ancient history, will show you essential locations in what is referred to as 'Little Rome,' including the theatre and the original mosaics, which have been well preserved over the centuries.

After exploring the site for about 1.5 to 2 hours, the guided tour concludes back at the meeting point.
