Las Xanas Gorge Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the car park next to the recreational area of Las Xanas. We will start our hike along the Las Xanas Gorge in Asturias.

We will begin our ascent; however, it is manageable. A short distance ahead, we will enter the impressive gorge of the Senda del Oso, where we will see numerous tunnels carved into the rock.

This area offers a spectacular view of the River Trubia from one of the highest points on the path, and we will traverse a beech forest and chestnut trees. We will cross a small wooden bridge and continue ascending through Las Xanas.

Additionally, during the hike, we will pass by the hermitage of San Antonio de Pedroveya, an excellent resting point after an hour and a half of walking.

In total, we will complete the route in approximately 2.5 hours of walking, returning to the starting point.
