2 Day Hike from Barreirinhas to Atins

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

Pickup from your hotel is scheduled between 2:45 and 3 am. We will board a ferry to begin the hike through Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. The trek lasts seven hours, leading us through extensive sand dunes to the village of Baixa Grande, where we will stay overnight with a local family.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Atins

After breakfast, we will continue our trek, exploring beautiful freshwater lagoons and dunes, culminating in a three-hour hike to the mouth of the Rio Negro. A 4x4 vehicle will be ready to transport you to Atins, arriving by 11 am at your chosen destination.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation with breakfast in a hammock at a local family's house.
