Atins Lagoon Hiking Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Barreirinhas between 7:40 and 8:20 am. From there, we will take a 4x4 trip to the Preguiças River, where we will board a raft and cross to the other side.

Once we have crossed the river, we start a one and a half hour hike through the picturesque Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Our first stop is at Atins beach, where the Preguiças River meets the Atlantic.

After walking for another 15 minutes, we will reach a lagoon surrounded by dunes called Canto de Atins. We then continue to the Época lagoon, a freshwater oasis hidden in the sands, where you will have free time to take a dip and enjoy a rest.

Feeling energized, we will set off on the return journey, stopping for lunch in one of the restaurants along the way. You can also relax in a hammock and disconnect.

Finally, we'll depart for Barreirinhas, arriving at around 4:30 pm.
