Lagoa das Emendadas Excursion

Discover one of the purest and wildest landscapes in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park on this trip to the Lagoa das Emendadas.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Santo Amaro do Maranhão. We'll board a minibus and make our way to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park to explore its dunes and visit the Lagoa das Emendadas.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a hike lasting around 1.5 to 2 hours, covering a total of 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) to reach the Lagoa das Emendadas, situated in a wild area of the park. During the hike, we will encounter other lagoons and make short stops for photos and swimming.

Once we reach the Lagoa das Emendadas, we'll admire the location and learn about the native flora and fauna, including the area's significance for bird breeding and the possibility of spotting little turtles.

After watching the sunset over the lagoon, we will return via minibus. After approximately 5 hours, we will arrive back at the hotels, concluding the tour.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the centre of Santo Amaro do Maranhão, except for the following hotels where pickup is not available: Lençóis Zaya, Pacas Suites e Chalés, Oiá Casa Lençóis, and Olho d'Água dos Pereira hotels.
