Tour Details

During the booking process, you can choose between two tour options of different areas of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Both include hotel pick-up and drop off, transport by an off-roading vehicle, a Portuguese-speaking guide, and admission to the park.

4-Hour Tour

This option begins with an off-roading vehicle to the pier of Barreirinhas, where we board a ferry to cross the Preguiças River. Following this, we'll travel for 50 minutes to enjoy the large dunes and beautiful lakes. There will be stops at the dunes for perspective and a chance to dip in rainwater ponds. We will conclude at the tallest dune to watch the sunset.

Schedule: this tour operates at 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

9-Hour Tour

This full-day option starts with a scenic tour toward Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Bonita. The first stop is Lagoa Azul, where you can enjoy the waters before heading to Lagoa Bonita for lunch. Afterward, you will explore the surroundings and climb the tall dunes for scenic views. The tour ends with a sunset viewing before returning to Barreirinhas.
