Private Santo Amaro 3 Day Hike

Activity Details

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

On the first day, between 2:45 and 3:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Barreirinhas and take a ferry to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

Upon arrival, we will hike to the village of Baixa Grande for about 4 miles, exploring lagoons and sand dunes.

We will arrive in Baixa Grande in the afternoon to meet a local family and spend the night.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Queimada dos Britos

After breakfast, we will collect our backpacks and begin hiking through the dunes towards Queimada dos Britos, a journey lasting about five hours.

We will spend the night in Queimada dos Britos after enjoying the landscapes of the park.

Day 3: Queimada dos Britos - Betânia - Santo Amaro

We will start our day at 4 am with breakfast, then trek to the community of Betânia, a trek of approximately seven hours.

As with previous days, we will enjoy the park's landscapes and swim in its lagoons.

At the end of the route, a 4x4 vehicle will be available to take you to your desired location in Santo Amaro.

Accommodation

This tour includes two nights accommodation with breakfast in a hammock in a local family's house.
