Activity Details

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

On the first day, between 2:45 and 3:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Barreirinhas and take a ferry to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

Upon arrival, we will hike to the village of Baixa Grande for approximately 4 miles, enjoying the lagoons and sand dunes. We will arrive in Baixa Grande in the afternoon to meet a local family and stay overnight.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Queimada dos Britos

After breakfast, we will take our backpacks and hike through the dunes to the oasis of Queimada dos Britos, a journey of about five hours. We will spend the night at Queimada dos Britos.

Day 3: Queimada dos Britos - Betânia - Santo Amaro

On the last day, we will have breakfast at 4 am before trekking to the community of Betânia, approximately seven hours away. We will enjoy the landscapes and swim in the lagoons.

At the end of the route, a 4x4 vehicle will transport you to your desired location in Santo Amaro.

Accommodation

This tour includes two nights accommodation with breakfast in a hammock at a local family's home.
