Tour Details

At your chosen time, we will meet in front of the Royal House Museum to start our guided tour of Santo Domingo's Ciudad Colonial. We will explore the most symbolic spots in the oldest part of the Dominican capital.

First, we'll visit the Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor, the oldest cathedral in North America, constructed under the order of Charles V. Next, we will head to Fortaleza Ozama, the oldest fort built by Europeans in America.

We will stroll along Las Damas Street and stop at the House of Rodrigo Bastidas. We will also see the former residences of Nicolás de Ovando and Dávila while learning about the colonial era in Santo Domingo.

Afterwards, we will visit the National Pantheon, the Royal House Museum, and the Plaza de España, where the iconic Alcazar de Colón is located.

After 2 hours of exploring the history of Santo Domingo, we will conclude the tour.
