Colonial Zone Neighborhood Bicycle Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time on Arzobispo Meriño Street, the starting point for cycling through the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.

The first stop will be at Colon Park to admire the façade of the Primada de América Cathedral and learn about its history. We will then continue to Billini Square to see the exterior of Casa del Tostado and discover its name's origin.

Next, we’ll cycle through Duarte Park to view the ruins of the Convent of Los Dominicos and proceed to the church of Las Mercedes. Following this, we will visit the monument to Balandra Aurora and the Santo Domingo Obelisk.

We'll continue along the wall of the Old City to San José Park for the monument to Fray Antonio de Montesinos. Next is Pellerano Castro Square, marking the beginning of Calle de las Damas, the oldest street in Santo Domingo.

We’ll visit Plaza de España to admire the architecture of the Alcázar de Colón and explore the area of Santa Barbara and the ruins of San Francisco.

After cycling for 2 hours through the oldest part of the Dominican capital, we will conclude the tour back at the meeting point.
