Colonial Zone Neighborhood Bicycle Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time on Arzobispo Meriño Street to start cycling through the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.

The first stop will be at Colon Park, where we'll admire the façade of the Primada de América Cathedral. After learning its history, we'll continue to Billini Square to see the exterior of the Casa del Tostado.

We'll then continue our tour through Duarte Park, observing the ruins of the Convent of Los Dominicos, and head to the church of Las Mercedes, followed by the monument to Balandra Aurora and the Santo Domingo Obelisk.

Following the wall of the Old City, we'll arrive at San José Park, viewing the monument to Fray Antonio de Montesinos, and proceed to Pellerano Castro Square, where the Calle de las Damas, the oldest street in Santo Domingo, begins.

Next, we'll head to Plaza de España to admire the architecture of the Alcázar de Colón, before touring the area of Santa Barbara and the ruins of San Francisco.

Finally, after 2 hours of cycling, we'll end the tour back at the meeting point.
