Colonial Zone Neighborhood Bicycle Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time on Arzobispo Meriño Street, and from this central point of the Dominican capital, we'll start cycling through the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.

The first stop will be at Colon Park, to admire the façade of the Primada de América Cathedral. After learning about its history, we'll continue to Billini Square to see the exterior of Casa del Tostado and discover its interesting name.

Next, we will bike through the Duarte Park to view the ruins of the Convent of Los Dominicos. We will then proceed to the church of Las Mercedes, followed by a visit to the monument to Balandra Aurora and the Santo Domingo Obelisk.

Continuing along the walls of the Old City, we'll arrive at San José Park to view the monument to Fray Antonio de Montesinos. We'll move on to Pellerano Castro Square, from where the emblematic Calle de las Damas begins.

Next, we will head to Plaza de España to admire the Alcázar de Colón, and after exploring its past, we will tour the area of Santa Barbara and the ruins of San Francisco.

Finally, after 2 hours of cycling through the oldest part of the Dominican capital, we'll end the tour back at the meeting point.
