On this day trip to Los Haitises National Park, we will explore the Samaná Peninsula and visit petroglyph caves.
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we will meet at Parque Colón and depart from Santo Domingo. After a 2.5 to 3-hour drive, we will arrive at Los Haitises National Park, where we will board a boat to explore the cays of the park, passing through mangrove forests and seeing rock formations. We will visit petroglyph caves with Taino artwork and stop at the Arena Cave, located next to the beach.
Our next stop will be the island of Cayo Levantado, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of a typical< strong> Dominican dish.
Finally, we will return to our original meeting point, concluding the tour after a total of 12 hours.
