Day Trip to Los Tres Ojos & Socoa Falls

We will meet at the scheduled time in Parque Colon in Santo Domingo to begin our excursion to Socoa Falls and Los Tres Ojos.

We will start with Salto de Socoa, a waterfall located in Monte Plata. Upon arrival, we will enjoy Dominican coffee prepared traditionally.

Next, we will hike to the impressive 20-meter (65-foot) waterfall, where you can swim in its natural pool. A cook will prepare a Dominican charcoal lunch for us, using techniques from the early twentieth century.

After lunch, we will walk back through the jungle and take a minibus to Los Tres Ojos cave, a site filled with legends. We will learn about the Taino Indians who regarded this cave as sacred.

After six hours of adventure, we will return to the starting point in Santo Domingo.
