Hike to El Habitáculo Waterfall

Tour Details

Pickup will occur at the specified time at Plaza Paraíso, from where we will proceed from Santo Domingo to Los Cacaos in the province of San Cristóbal.

Upon arrival, we will start our hiking route to El Habitáculo waterfall. The hike will last approximately one to two hours, traversing the lush landscapes of the Dominican Republic's interior. The duration may vary based on the group's pace.

At the waterfall, we will enjoy a nourishing snack featuring a chicken sandwich on macadamia bread and raisins. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

After the snack, we will make our descent back, taking a different route through El Habitáculo to enjoy the waterfall from various angles. This route includes a small rappelling activity near the waterfall.

Back at the starting point, a proper Dominican-style lunch will be served, consisting of chicken stew with white rice, red beans, and salad.

After 10 hours of nature and adventure, we will return to Santo Domingo.
