On this 2-day tour of Monte Cristi, we explore the coastal area in the northwest of the Dominican Republic, combining history and adventure.

Tour Description

Day 1: Monte Cristi - El Morro

We begin after meeting at your chosen meeting point at the specified time, proceeding to the historic town of Monte Cristi. Here, we will discover its significance, starting at the clock tower of San Fernando de Monte Cristi. Next, we will visit the Máximo Gómez House Museum for a guided tour.

Afterwards, we will ascend to the El Morro viewpoint during sunset to witness a renowned sunset. The day concludes with dinner at La Casa Azul restaurant, followed by drop-off at your hotel in Monte Cristi.

Day 2: Mangroves - Grand Grossier - Isla Cabra

Following a Dominican breakfast, we will take a boat to the mangroves, stopping for a swim at the mouth of the Caribbean Sea. We will then proceed to Grand Grossier, known for its white sand and turquoise waters.

Our final destination is Isla Cabra, where we will enjoy lunch at Marina del Mar de Monte Cristi while admiring the cliffs. The tour concludes at 5 pm at the initial meeting point in Santiago de los Caballeros or at 7 pm in Santo Domingo.
