Santo Domingo Food Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza Pellerano Castro to start a walking tour through the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. This tour focuses on the most traditional flavors of the Dominican capital.

We'll explore iconic places like the Panteon de la Patria and the Catedral Primada de America, discussing traditional dishes. One notable dish is quipe, a pastry of Lebanese origin brought by immigrants to the southern region.

Participants will enjoy a selection of seasonal fruits and sweets, and we'll visit Santo Domingo's Chinatown for its renowned recipes, including Chinese steamed buns.

Additionally, we'll visit the Mercado Modelo, the largest market in the city, and other locations such as the Museo Casa de Tostado, Parque de la Independencia, and Little Haiti. The tour concludes at Isabel La Catolica Street, where participants can enjoy a Dominican beer.

Finally, the tour will end at 12 pm at Parque Colon.
