Santo Domingo Food Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza Pellerano Castro to begin a walking tour through the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. The tour will showcase traditional flavors of the Dominican capital.

During the exploration of iconic sites like the Panteon de la Patria and the Catedral Primada de America, we will discuss traditional dishes. An example is quipe, a pastry of Lebanese origin that came with immigrants to the south of the Dominican Republic.

The tour includes seasonal fruits and sweets, as well as a visit to Santo Domingo's Chinatown for a Chinese steamed bun. We will also visit the Mercado Modelo, the largest market in the city, and other sites such as the Museo Casa de Tostado, Parque de la Independencia, and Little Haiti. We will conclude with a Dominican beer on Isabel La Catolica Street.

The tour will end at 12 pm at Parque Colon.
