Santo Domingo Food Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza Pellerano Castro to start a walking tour through the Colonial City of Santo Domingo.

During the tour, we'll explore iconic landmarks such as the Panteon de la Patria and the Catedral Primada de America, while discussing traditional dishes. One example is quipe, a pastry of Lebanese origin brought to the island by immigrants.

The tour includes seasonal fruits and various sweets. We will also visit Santo Domingo's Chinatown for its famous recipes, including a Chinese steamed bun.

Additionally, we will stop by the Mercado Modelo, the largest market in the city, and visit sites like the Museo Casa de Tostado, the Parque de la Independencia, and Little Haiti. The tour will conclude on Isabel La Catolica Street, where we will enjoy a Dominican beer.

Finally, at 12 pm, we will end the tour at Parque Colon.
