At the designated time, we'll meet at the Mirador de las Marismas pier to begin our tour. Interested in discovering the elaboration process of Santoña's famous anchovy? Let's get started!

We'll begin by exploring the fishing port in this Cantabrian town while learning about its operations. This is the most important port in Cantabria. We'll discuss the characteristics of the purse seine boats and uncover marine vocabulary.

Afterward, we'll enter the fish market to see the auction room and learn about the activities that occur in the fish sale after unloading from the boats.

Continuing our tour, we'll head to the Galería de Arte de la Anchoa de Conservas Ana María, known as the Anchovy Museum. You will see 20th-century machinery and the process of filleting anchovies.

Finally, you will taste an anchovy fillet to conclude our tour. After 2 hours, we'll say goodbye at the Anchovy Museum in Santoña.
