If you're in Portonovo, you can explore the Cíes Islands by meeting at Rúa Rafael Pico at the designated time for departure. You will have the entire day to discover this Galician enclave, known for its scenic beauty and historical significance.
Activities on the Cies Islands include hiking and relaxing on long beaches with clear waters, particularly at Rodas Beach. You need to return to the port by 7 pm for the ferry back to Portonovo.

If you plan to return another day, you must indicate this during the booking. Camping on the islands requires prior authorization from the Galician Government.
Guided Tours in Low Season
During low season (October 1 - May 14), the ticket includes a 1-hour tour with an official guide, as independent visits are prohibited. The guide will accompany you during the boat trip and lead you on the main routes of the islands. Note that this service is not available during the 10 days of high season in Holy Week.
Authorization From the Xunta de Galicia
In high season (May 15 - September 30, and during Easter week), you must bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access the islands. This will be sent to you via email. During the rest of the year, the guide will provide the necessary authorization.
Authorization for Campers
If you choose to camp on the Cíes Islands, the campsite is responsible for processing your authorization. Cancellations must go through the campsite first, and boat tickets can only be canceled after the authorization is confirmed as canceled.
Keep in mind that an authorization linked to a shipping company cannot be reassigned to another company if you cancel your reservation;
