Cies Islands Boat Transfer

If you're in Portonovo, you have the opportunity to visit the Cíes Islands, located in the National Maritime-Terrestrial Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. After sailing for half an hour along the Atlantic Ocean, you'll arrive at the islands and have the rest of the day free to explore.

You can spend your day enjoying the beaches, natural surroundings, or engaging in hiking routes available on the islands. The return time will be between 5:30 and 6:50 pm, depending on the permit granted by the Galician government for that season.

The return timetable from the Cíes Islands to the port of Portonovo is as follows:

Please note that permits from the Xunta de Galicia can only be requested during the 30 days before your visit. Once processed, it will be sent to you.

Authorization for campers

If you stay at a campsite on the Cíes Islands, the campsite must process the authorization. To cancel your trip, contact the campsite first to ensure cancellation of the authorization. Then, inform the shipping company within the refund period to cancel your boat tickets.

Once an authorization is linked to a shipping company, it cannot be transferred to another company. Thus, if you cancel your reservation, you must also cancel your authorization and then request a new one if needed.
