Cies Islands Boat Transfer

If you're in Portonovo, don't miss the chance to visit the Cíes Islands, located in the National Maritime-Terrestrial Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. A boat will take you across the Atlantic Ocean for half an hour to reach the islands. Upon arrival, you'll have the rest of the day free to enjoy the surroundings. Options include relaxing on Caribbean-style beaches, swimming, or hiking various routes available on the islands.

The return time will be between 5:30 and 6:50 pm, depending on the permit granted by the Galician government for that season.

Note that permits from the Xunta de Galicia can only be requested 30 days before your visit. Once processed, it will be sent to you.

Authorization for campers

If you wish to stay at a campsite on the Cíes Islands, the campsite must process the authorization. To cancel, contact the campsite first. Only after they confirm the cancellation should you reach out to the shipping company for your boat tickets. One authorization cannot be associated with another shipping company, so a cancellation requires processing a new authorization if you switch companies.
