Ons Island Ferry
The Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands is a protected area off the coast of Galicia. The trip begins at the Juan Carlos I Marina before boarding the ferry to Ons Island.
Experience wild beaches of white sand and turquoise waters, just 40 minutes by boat from Sanxenxo, providing an alternative to the popular Cíes Islands.
During the visit, enjoy the sea breeze, crystal waters, and stunning landscapes. Local traditional restaurants offer fresh fish dishes.
Return Ferry Times
When booking, indicate your preferred return time from Ons Island from the available schedules. If you wish to return on another day, this must also be specified during the booking. Camping on the island requires prior authorization from the Xunta de Galicia.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons Island is a protected area with a daily visitor quota requiring authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. During high season (15 May to 15 September and Easter), you must provide your own authorization, which we will email to you. Outside of this period, the guide will carry it for the tour.
If any participant cannot attend, notify at least 15 days in advance with the absent person’s name for removal from the list by the Xunta de Galicia.
Guided Tour of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of the island, excluding the 10 days of Easter (from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday).
