Ons Island Ferry

The Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands is a protected area off the coast of Galicia. The trip begins at the Juan Carlos I Marina to board the ferry to Ons Island.

Experience wild beaches of white sand and turquoise waters just 40 minutes by boat from Sanxenxo, offering an alternative to the popular Cíes Islands.

On Ons Island, enjoy the sea breeze, Atlantic waters, and landscapes ideal for photography. Local restaurants serve fresh fish if you desire a meal.

Return Ferry Times

During reservation, indicate your desired return time from Ons Island among the available schedules. If returning another day, specify this as well. Camping on the island requires prior authorization from Xunta de Galicia.

Authorization to visit Ons Island

Ons Island has a daily visitor quota. Authorization from Xunta de Galicia is required to visit. In high season (from 15 May to 15 September and at Easter), you must bring your own authorization, which we will email to you. Outside high season, the guide will provide it on the tour day. If a participant cannot attend, provide at least 15 days' notice with their details for removal from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour, excluding the 10 days of Easter from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday.
