Ons Island Ferry

The Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands is a protected area off the coast of Galicia. The trip begins at the Juan Carlos I Marina before taking the ferry to Ons Island.

Enjoy the wild beaches of white sand and serene turquoise waters, just 40 minutes by boat from Sanxenxo. This is a great alternative to the Cíes Islands.

While on Ons Island, you can feel the sea breeze, admire the Atlantic's crystal waters, and capture stunning landscapes. Local traditional restaurants offer delicious fresh fish for those feeling hungry.

Return Ferry Times

During your reservation, specify the return time from Ons Island among the available schedules. If returning another day, indicate this during the booking. Camping on the island requires prior authorization from the Xunta de Galicia.

Authorization to visit Ons Island

Ons Island is protected, requiring visitor authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. During high season (15 May to 15 September and Easter), obtain your authorization beforehand. It will be emailed to you. Outside this period, the guide will provide it on the day of the tour. If someone cannot attend, provide at least 15 days' notice with their details for removal from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island, excluding the 10 days of Easter (from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday).
