Ons Island Ferry
The Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands is a protected area off the coast of Galicia. The trip begins at the Juan Carlos I Marina, followed by a ferry ride to Ons Island. The journey takes about 40 minutes, offering an alternative to the Cíes Islands.
On Ons Island, enjoy the sea breeze, crystal waters, and stunning landscapes. You can also sample fresh fish at traditional restaurants.
Return Ferry Times
During reservation, indicate your preferred return time from Ons Island. If you plan to return another day, specify this as well. Camping on the island requires prior authorization from the Xunta de Galicia.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons Island has a daily visitor quota; authorization from the Xunta de Galicia is required for access. In high season (from 15 May to 15 September and during Easter), you must bring your own authorization, which will be emailed to you. During the rest of the year, the guide will carry the necessary authorization. If someone cannot attend, provide at least 15 days' notice to remove them from the list.
Guided Tour of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island, except during the Easter season (from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday).
