Aracaju Markets Tour + Museu da Gente Sergipana

After picking you up at your chosen time at your hotel in Aracaju, we will embark on a cultural tour of this coastal city in Sergipe.

Our first stop will be at Parque da Cidade, where you can take the Aracaju cable car to view the municipal zoo from above. Next, we will visit the city's main food markets.

The major markets in Aracaju are Antônio Franco and Virgínia Franco. We will explore both to see local handicrafts, including embroidery, lace, straw objects, and ceramics.

Next, we will visit the Museu da Gente Sergipana ('Museum of the People of Sergipe'), featuring an interactive exhibition about the culture, gastronomy, festivities, and folklore of northeastern Brazil. The customs and celebrations from this region will be highlighted.

The last stop will be the Largo da Gente Sergipana, showcasing colorful sculptures representing various trades and characters of northeastern Brazil, located along the Sergipe River. This is one of the region's notable art pieces.

After viewing the sculptures, we will return to your hotel in Aracaju, with arrival scheduled for three hours after pickup.
