Aracaju & Praia de Aruana Tour

On this tour of Aracaju, we'll explore the capital of the state of Sergipe, visiting significant monuments and Praia de Aruana.

Description

Pick-up at your hotel will be between 7:30 and 8:40 am, and the tour will commence at 9 am. The excursion will include a mix of walking and minibus rides to provide a comprehensive view of Aracaju.

The first stop will be Largo da Gente Sergipana, featuring eight sculptures that honor the folkloric manifestations of Sergipe. Information about local cultural elements, such as the caboclinhos and taieira, will be provided.

Next, we will explore the municipal market of Aracaju and the Albano Franco market for an hour, highlighting Brazilian cuisine and local handicrafts.

We will also visit San Antonio hill to reflect on the city's history and enjoy panoramic views. The tour will include a visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral, a late 19th-century building showcasing neo-classical and neo-gothic styles. Nearby, a lace-making technique recognized as Cultural Heritage of Brazil will be demonstrated.

Finally, we will spend two and a half hours at Praia de Aruana for lunch and relaxation. The tour will conclude with drop-off at your hotel between 3:30 pm and 4 pm.
