Aracaju & Praia de Aruana Tour

On this tour of Aracaju, we'll explore the capital of the state of Sergipe, visiting major monuments, learning about its history, and enjoying Praia de Aruana.

Description

Between 7:30 and 8:40 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9 am, we'll start our tour of Aracaju. The tour combines walking and minibus rides for a comprehensive overview of the city.

The first stop is at Largo da Gente Sergipana, featuring eight sculptures honoring the folkloric manifestations of Sergipe. Following this, we will spend an hour at the municipal market of Aracaju and the Albano Franco market, where you can see local cuisine and handicrafts.

Next, we'll visit San Antonio hill for a review of Aracaju's past and panoramic views of the city. We will then proceed to the Metropolitan Cathedral, a late 19th-century building with neo-classical and neo-gothic elements. Nearby, we will explore a lace-making technique recognized as Cultural Heritage of Brazil.

To conclude, we will go to Praia de Aruana, where you have two and a half hours for lunch and relaxation. The tour will finish with your hotel drop-off between 3:30 pm and 4 pm.
