On this excursion to Mangue Seco from Aracaju, we will explore a fishing village surrounded by dunes and coconut trees, known for its appearance in a famous soap opera.
Mangue Seco Excursion
We will depart at 7 am from your hotel in Aracaju to Mangue Seco, situated between Sergipe and Bahia.
Upon arrival, a boat ride through Mangue Seco will take us along the Piauitinga and Real rivers, showcasing the natural landscape of coconut trees and dunes characteristic of northeastern Brazil.
Following the boat ride, we will proceed to the beach of Mangue Seco for a buggy tour of the inlet, where you will see the picturesque scenery popularized by the 1990s soap opera Tieta, based on a novel by Jorge Amado.
In the Mangue Seco inlet, you will have two hours of free time to swim in the Atlantic and relax at beach bars. Don't forget to take a photo with the iconic coconut trees Romeo and Juliet!
We will return to your hotel in Aracaju by 5:30 pm.
