Praia do Saco & Tambaquis Lagoon Day Trip

The beaches of the state of Sergipe never disappoint. This day trip from Aracaju will take you to Praia do Saco & Lagoa de Tambaquis, where you'll see its famous large fish.

Day Trip Details

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Aracaju and head south, following the coast of the state of Sergipe.

After a journey of 76 kilometers (47 miles), we'll arrive at Praia do Saco, known for the many famous faces who spend their summers here. You'll have two hours free to enjoy a refreshing dip in the Atlantic Ocean and recharge at one of its many sea-view restaurants. Enjoy dishes from northeastern Brazilian gastronomy.

The day trip continues to Lagoa dos Tambaquis, a lake where we will see dozens of fish up to 50 centimeters (20 inches) long, one of the largest freshwater species in Latin America.

Finally, from Lagoa dos Tambaquis, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju, arriving at 5:30 pm.
