São Cristóvão Excursion

São Cristóvão is one of the most picturesque cities in the Brazilian state of Sergipe. On this excursion from Aracaju, we'll visit the historic center of this city.

Options

When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following excursions to São Cristóvão. Both options include pickup at your hotel in Aracaju, transportation, and a Spanish and Portuguese-speaking guide:

4-hour excursion

We'll pick you up at a time of your choice and head to São Cristóvão, the first capital of the state of Sergipe, located 16 kilometers (10 miles) from Aracaju. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a guided tour through the historic area, visiting the Museum of Sacred Art and the Historical Museum, showcasing pieces from the 16th to 18th centuries.

The tour will also include visits to the main churches of the municipality before returning to Aracaju.

Schedule: at 9 am and 1:30 pm

Excursion with dinner (8 hours)

This option includes visits to the Museum of Sacred Art and Historical Museum, followed by a stop at Convento do Carmo, where you'll learn about a dessert called queijadinhas and the story of Sor Dulce.

Next, we will visit a woodcutting workshop to learn about printing on wood. The tour concludes with dinner at a local restaurant, where you can choose between meat, fish, or chicken dishes, or enjoy a salad or shrimp pastry. After dinner, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the central area of Orla de Aracaju. Alternative meeting points will be provided for those in other areas of the city.
