Xingó Canyon Excursion

One of the largest navigable gorges in Brazil awaits you on this excursion to the Xingó Canyon, a spectacular gorge of the São Francisco River that will captivate you from beginning to end.

We'll depart at 6:30 am from your hotel in Aracaju towards the São Francisco River, where we'll find the Xingó Canyon, the fifth largest navigable gorge in the world.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a boat ride through the Xingó Canyon, showcasing red rock walls up to 50 meters (164 feet) high. You will have the opportunity to photograph these impressive walls from the boat.

As we sail through the turquoise waters of the gorge, we'll also view the original sets of the soap operas Velho Chico and Cordel Encantado, with stories and curiosities about these series provided.

The boat ride includes a stop at the Talhado Grotto, where you will have two hours to swim in the São Francisco River and refuel with your packed food.

Afterward, we will sail back to the departure pier and return to Aracaju, with an expected hotel arrival time of 7:30 pm.

This tour includes pickup at the hotels located in the central district of Orla de Aracaju. Alternative meeting points will be provided for guests staying in other areas of the city.
