São Joaquim Apple Tour

The São Joaquim apple tour includes hotel pickup at a time of your choice. This crop is vital to the city's economy, representing over 80% of it.

Our first stop will be at the Company of Agricultural Research and Rural Extension of Santa Catarina (EPAGRI), where we will learn about the region’s sustainable agricultural practices, including the preservation and recovery of natural resources.

Next, we will visit the apple processing facility. Here, you will gain insight into the various stages of apple handling, from harvesting to distribution, including washing and selection. The prominent apple varieties in this region, such as Gala and Fugi, will also be presented.

You will then have the opportunity to visit an apple orchard, where you can pick apples directly from the tree and taste them fresh.

After approximately four hours, the tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in São Joaquim.
