Xaxins Trail Hiking Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start a hiking tour along the Xaxins trail. Over the course of 3 kilometers (nearly 2 miles), we'll follow a trail with a very peculiar name, which we'll explain during the tour. Along the route, we'll see the centennial xaxins, tree ferns endemic to the Atlantic Forest characterized by their thick trunks and large leaves.

During the tour, we'll see landscapes formed by waterfalls and various plant species, including the araucaria. To recover energy, we'll take a break to drink water and eat some apple chips.

After approximately two and a half hours of exploring São Joaquim National Park, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.
