While in Florianópolis, seize the opportunity to embark on a trip to Campeche Island. This excursion will take you to an idyllic setting characterized by stunning white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Transport to Campeche Island

Your adventure begins at 8:30 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Florianópolis. We will drive you to the eastern coast of Santa Catarina Island, where the departure point is Barra da Lagoa pier. Here, you will board a boat for a scenic journey along the island's breathtaking coastline.

The boat ride lasts approximately one hour, during which you will pass by notable beaches including Mole, Joaquina, and Galheta. The trip concludes as you arrive at Campeche Island, celebrated since 2000 as a National Archaeological and Landscape Heritage site.

Upon disembarking, you will have the opportunity to discover Campeche Island at your own pace. It’s an ideal spot for swimming and relaxing on the soft, white sand. Should you wish to bring your own picnic, you can savor it amidst this stunning natural backdrop!

For those keen on exploration, various trails traverse the island, leading you to remarkable shell mounds and rock engravings. Campeche is renowned for having one of the highest concentrations of these prehistoric artifacts in Brazil.

The group will gather again at 3:30 pm to return by boat to Barra da Lagoa. After our arrival at the pier, transportation will be provided back to your hotel in Florianópolis, with an expected return by 4:30 pm.

Please note that hotel pick-up is available solely for accommodations located in Santo Antônio de Lisboa, Canasvieiras, Ingleses, Jurerê, Ponta das Canas, Praia Brava, Rio Vermelho, and Barra da Lagoa. If your hotel is situated elsewhere in the city, we will provide a designated meeting point for you to reach.
