Urubici & Serra do Río do Rastro Excursion

We'll pick you up at 7:10 am at your hotel in Florianópolis and head to Serra do Rio do Rastro, located at 4,757 feet (1,450 meters) above sea level. From the viewpoint, you'll enjoy the landscapes of the mountain range while learning about the local flora. After taking photos, you'll have free time to eat before regrouping and heading towards Urubici.

On the way, we'll visit Barrinha waterfall and an apple farm, where we'll stop for half an hour. Upon arrival in Urubici, we'll explore the town, surrounded by mountains, canyons, valleys, and megalithic monuments. We'll pass by Matriz Church, known for its cross-shaped floor plan, and share the history of Urubici, founded by Jesuits searching for gold. Afterward, you'll have free time for lunch.

During the excursion, we'll visit the grotto of Nossa Senhora de Lourdes and the Serra do Corvo Branco mountain range. After the tour, we'll return to Florianópolis, concluding around 8 pm.

Hotel pickup

Pickup is included for hotels located in the north, west and downtown areas of Florianópolis. If your accommodation is outside these areas, you'll need to go to Shopping Villa Romana for the meeting point. Pickup time varies based on your accommodation location.
