Tour Details

We will meet at the Praia Grande pier at the scheduled time to start our walking tour through the historic center of São Luís do Maranhão. This city is a gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring colonial streets steeped in history.

During the tour, we will visit major attractions, including the Palácio dos Leões (Government House), the Plaça dos Poetas with its viewpoint over São Marcos Bay, and Rua Portugal, known for its scenic views. We will also stop at the Market of Tulhas, known for Maranhão products, and admire the architecture with Portuguese tiles. We will pass the Reggae Museum, São Luís Cathedral, and Beco Catarina Mina Alley, exploring shops and dining options.

The tour lasts between 2 hours and 15 minutes and 2.5 hours, concluding in the center of São Luís.
