At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start our panoramic tour of São Luís. Did you know that it's the only Brazilian city that was founded by the French? Let's learn about this city's history and culture!

São Luís is known for being the capital of Bumba-Meu-Boi, a traditional Afro-indigenous festival, and for hosting important poets and writers.

We will start by exploring the São Luís beaches, including the Espigão, designed to protect the city from strong waves. We will also pass by the Jansen lake and share the legend behind this lake as we cross the bridge over the Anil River.

Next, we will arrive in the urban area of São Luís to explore the historical center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. São Luís has over 3,000 buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, featuring buildings decorated with different coloured tiles.

We will visit the São Luís Cathedral, the iconic Rua do Giz, and the Palacio dos Leões Palace, the state government headquarters. Finally, we'll visit the Tulhas Market, a center specializing in Maranhão products.

After a 3-hour tour around São Luís, we will return to our vehicle and drop you off at your hotel.
