Discover the cultural heritage and legacy of a vibrant Brazilian city on our Guided Tour of Sao Paulo. We'll explore the historic center of Brazil's largest city and take a journey through the centuries.
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Italia Building and start a guided tour of the historic center.
Look up! This 550-foot (168-meter) skyscraper was declared a World Heritage Site due to its flawless vertical architecture. We'll then pass by the Municipal Theatre, an eclectic construction inspired by the Paris Opera House.
As we continue walking, we'll come to the Ramos de Azevedo Square, followed by the Pátio do Colégio, built in the 16th century for catechizing indigenous populations, leading to conflicts between missionaries and colonizers.
We'll then go to the Aroma e Sabor restaurant for a traditional buffet lunch. While we eat, we'll enjoy views of the São Bento Monastery and the Farol de Santander building.
After lunch, we'll head to Liberdade to explore the Japanese neighbourhood. We'll discuss the traditions and lifestyle of this community and their settlement in the area.
We'll end this tour after 4 hours at the meeting point.
