Blue Pond Hokkaido Day Trip

We'll meet at Sapporo Station and set off on a 2.5 hour bus journey for a day of natural beauty. The tour covers the Hokkaido flower fields.

Leaving Sapporo, we will travel along the Hokkaido Biei Sky, known as Roller Coaster Road, offering impressive views of the region's scenery.

We will arrive at the Blue Pond, near Biei, and explore its intense blue waters while discussing theories behind its color.

Next, we will enjoy a free buffet featuring traditional Japanese dishes. Afterward, we will visit either Shikisai-no-oka or Tomita Farm, depending on availability, showcasing Hokkaido's vibrant flower fields.

If we visit Shikisai-no-oka, we will see a valley of colorful shapes and reliefs. At Tomita Farm, one of Japan's oldest fields, there are more than 150 types of flowers.

To conclude, we will visit Ningle Terraces, a village of wooden houses with local artisans. We will return to Sapporo after 10 hours of sightseeing.
