Blue Pond Hokkaido Day Trip

Meeting at Sapporo Station, we embark on a 2.5 hour bus journey to experience natural beauty. Departing Sapporo, we enter the Hokkaido Biei Sky, a scenic route known as Roller Coaster Road.

Upon arrival at the Blue Pond, we will discuss the intense blue of its waters and the theories surrounding its color. Next, we will enjoy a delicious free buffet with traditional Japanese dishes before continuing to either Shikisai-no-oka or Tomita Farm, based on availability. Both destinations showcase the stunning flower fields of Hokkaido.

If we visit Shikisai-no-oka, we will explore a valley with diverse colors and shapes. A visit to Tomita Farm will reveal over 150 types of flowers in one of Japan's oldest fields.

To conclude our day, we will head to Ningle Terraces, a village of wooden houses with local artisans. We will return to Sapporo after a full day of sightseeing.
