Are you in Sapporo? If so, join us on this trip to Noboribetsu and Lake Toya to discover the town known for its hot springs and volcanic lagoon.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Sapporo Station to begin this day trip to Noboribetsu, a town acclaimed for its hot springs and volcanic landscape.
Upon arrival in Noboribetsu, we will visit Jigokudani, a crater formed around 10,000 years ago, and Oyunuma Pond, a hot spring with sulphur water. Depending on the season, you may take an open-air dip or simply relax.
Next, we will proceed to Lake Toya, a freshwater lagoon surrounded by mountains and forests. Time will be allowed for photographs and to appreciate its beauty.
We will also visit the Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch, where you can observe around 100 Hokkaido brown bears. The trip includes a stop at the Touyako Sero Lake Observatory Shikotsu Toya National Park Silo Observatory for remarkable views of the area.
Our final stop will be in Otaru, known for its well-preserved canal and 19th-century warehouses, along with fresh seafood options. Our lunch break will offer a chance to enjoy sushi.
After approximately 10 hours, we will return to Sapporo Station.
