Butrint National Park Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at Tea Tours & Bookstore Toena in Saranda to board our air-conditioned vehicle to the ancient city of Butrint. After a 30-minute drive, we'll reach Butrint National Park, home to an archaeological site with significant Greco-Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian ruins.
We'll start by visiting the Roman theatre, dating back to the Hellenistic period, with its seats and part of the stage remarkably intact. We will also see the Temple of Asclepius, a remnant from the ancient Greek city of Bouthroton.
Next, we will explore the Roman era by visiting the 6th-century basilica, known for its spectacular mosaic pavement. We will conclude our visit at the Venetian castle, where you can enjoy impressive views and visit its museum.
On the way back to Saranda, we will stop at the beaches of Ksamil to relax and enjoy the Ionian Sea for about 2 hours.
After 5 hours of exploration and beach time, we will return you to Saranda.
