National Park of Blue Eye + Lekuresi Castle Tour

We will meet at Skënderbeu 67 at 9 am and take a bus to the Blue Eye lagoon in Albania. This site is recognized as a protected Natural Monument.

Upon arrival, we’ll explore the area, where you can see Mali i Gjërë Mountain and the Blue Eye spring, the largest of the 18 freshwater springs in the region. It resembles a large blue eye, featuring striking shades of blue and is approximately 50 metres (164 feet) deep, surrounded by lush vegetation.

We will also visit the ruins of Lekuresi Castle, believed to date back to 1537. The castle sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Saranda, offering remarkable views of the bay of Saranda, the road to Butrint, and nearby islands including Ksamil and Corfu.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point.
