Costa Rican Culture Tour
We'll meet at the Diamante Eco Park at a time of your choice. Our first stop will be an animal sanctuary, one of the most important wildlife refuges in Costa Rica.
We'll walk through lush gardens, observing birds and crocodiles, and meet the beloved sloths. Then, we'll proceed to La Casita, where the cultural experience begins!
In this traditional area of the Diamante Eco Park, we'll explore rural Costa Rica's way of life. We'll see cocoa plants and learn how their fruits become chocolate.
We will discuss coffee, the country's star product, and walk along a path to learn about the tradition of the cultivation of sugar cane. We will harvest some sugar cane and use the press to make a typical freshwater drink.
After a two-hour tour, the activity will conclude.
