On the day of the activity, we will meet at the designated time on Via dei Fenicotteri to commence our horseback tour along Porto Ferro Beach and Lake Baratz.

The journey begins in the lush area surrounding Lake Baratz, Sardinia's only natural freshwater lake. This tranquil location features crystal-clear waters and unique landscapes—ideal for photographs.

As we ride along the lake's edge, paths will take us through a pine forest, revealing the area's hidden beauty, particularly noticeable as we move from the forest to the sand dunes.

The dunes of Porto Ferro Beach will rise before us, reaching heights of up to 5 meters (16.4 feet). From the top, the ocean will be visible on the horizon.

As we descend, our ride continues along Porto Ferro beach, marked by three significant 17th-century watchtowers that add historical context to the experience.

Concluding our beach ride, we return through the forest. The two-hour journey covers a total of 7 kilometers (4 miles) across Porto Ferro Beach and Lake Baratz.
