Upon showing your ticket at the entrance, you can enter the museum's cellar to start your tour. Experience the mushroom growing world of Saumur, where 10 tons of mushrooms are harvested annually. Explore more than 250 species of wild mushrooms in Europe’s largest mushroom exhibition, featuring varieties such as mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, and shiitake. The tour concludes with a visit to the troglodyte house, a room carved out of limestone tufa that showcases objects related to mushroom cultivation globally.
