- 1 Bewertung
Balata, Saint-Pierre, and beautiful natural landscapes await us on this tour of northern Martinique from Fort-de-France.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Fort-de-France of your choice and head towards the northern part of the island.
The first stop will be the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We'll compare both monuments during our visit. Next, we will visit the Balata Garden, a botanical space of around 3 hectares featuring a variety of tropical flowers and plants.
Continuing through a tropical jungle, we will arrive at a restaurant for a delicious lunch of typical dishes from the island. After lunch, we'll proceed to the coastal town of Saint Pierre, learning about the Pelée volcano eruption in 1902 that impacted the town significantly.
The final stop will be at a rum distillery, where you can try various varieties of popular Caribbean drinks.
We will return to the meeting point in Fort-de-France, arriving 7 hours after pickup.
