Northern Martinique Tour
- 7 Stunden
- 1 Bewertung
Balata, Saint-Pierre, and natural landscapes are highlights of this tour of northern Martinique starting from Fort-de-France.
Description
At the scheduled time, pickup will be from the meeting point in Fort-de-France of your choice, after which we will head to the northern part of the island.
The first stop is at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, which resembles the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We'll compare both architectural structures. Next, we will visit the Balata Garden, covering approximately 3 hectares of tropical flowers and plants.
Following our time in the garden, the tour continues through a tropical jungle filled with lush landscapes. We will then stop for a typical island lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, we'll proceed to the coastal town of Saint Pierre, where we'll discuss the impact of the Pelée volcano eruption in 1902 on the town.
The final stop will be at a rum distillery for tasting various Caribbean drinks.
We will return to the meeting point in Fort-de-France approximately 7 hours after pickup.
