Enjoy the Caribbean and its many charms with this private tour of northern Martinique. You'll see banana plantations, Parisian-inspired churches, ancient towns buried by volcanic eruptions and visit a rum distillery - unmissable!

Private Tour Details

When making your reservation, you'll have a choice of three options for your private tour of northern Martinique. Both tours include pickup and drop off at your hotel in Fort-de-France and an exclusive English-speaking guide just for you and your group.

4.5-Hour Tour

We'll start with a guided tour of Fort-de-France, admiring the colourful facades of its houses and the late 19th-century Saint Louis Cathedral. We'll then proceed to the Sacré Coeur Church, inspired by a significant Parisian monument.

This tour includes a visit to the Saut Gendarme Waterfall for a swim, exploration of banana and sugar cane plantations, and traditional markets in Saint-Pierre to experience rural life. A tasting of rum at a distillery and a local ice cream sampling will also be featured.

Our final stop will be the ruins of Saint-Pierre, a historic town destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pelée in the 20th century, followed by your return to the hotel.

5-Hour Tour

This option emphasizes exploring the lush nature of northern Martinique. We will travel along the Caribbean coast, visiting fishing villages like Le Carbet, and an organic rum distillery. A stop at a black sand beach related to Paul Gauguin will follow.

We will spend two hours at the Martinique Zoo and continue towards Saint-Pierre, with sights such as rainforests, the Alma River, and the Balata Botanical Garden. A brief stop at the Sacré Coeur Church will conclude the tour.
